Spending has been drastically cut from educational programs. As a result, it was a huge issue in the last governors rate with both Patrick and Healey explaining that they'd fix the funding of the education system. It was actually a big talking point, as the educational system was ailing from Romney vetoes. Many schools were forced to rely on operational overrides at the local level to pay for the schools' budget. Libraries have also been greatly impacted from the vetoes.

Massachusetts has some of the highest funded schools in the country, even with budget cuts. But I question how much money truly affects performance. California schools are #2 in funding. And when you look at test scores, Mass and Cali are on complete opposite ends of the performance scale. Only DC, for instance, did worse than CA on reading and math tests.

You gotta understand how states' funding works. When a budget get's to a point, it's there. No spending less, only more. There's no way around it, pop. growth, larger econ.= larger budget and liberalism always wins over tax cuts(specially in east). HE DRASTICALLY REDUCED THE PERCENTAGE OF ANNUAL AVG. INCREASES OF BUDGETS... WHAT WE AS A NATION NEED.

Ray Charles could see Romney's multiple-choice positions are those of expediency, not conviction or ideology. I'm a Mitt Romney supporter and would vote for him if he got the nomination. But i don't think he's going to get the nomination. I think McCain has the nomination hands down
